My First Blog

Hello Blogging World, this is my first blog ever! The reason I started this is basically like any other blogger, to voice their opinions over the world wide web and hope someone will listen. haha. Let me give you a feel of what I basically will be writing about.

I like to get up to date with all the events occurring around the world. I starting doing this when I was a kid with my father. It because a conversation piece that we talk about ever so deeply. Because we followed such events closely, we were able to see something that most couldn't.

Now, before I being, let me put out there for those that will probably think that I am some "end-of-the-world" nut case or something. Yes, it does state in the bible about the end of the world, and 2012 is the doom of the world, blah blah blah. That is not what I am here to talk about, most of those scenarios are so far blown up that it makes it almost unbelievable. I am not discrediting all together, I just more proof before I believe something like that.

Okay, now with all that aside, lets gets to the real stuff. I read Foxnews.com for my main stories, I don't like CNN for personals that we won't discuss. But Just before I started this blog I came across an article for my first subtopic into huge topic that I will get to.

A Deputy US Marshall was shot and killed and more injured on a warranty serve. That make like 24 law enforcement officers killed since the first of the year.

"According to the Washington, D.C.-based National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, which tracks police deaths, 24 law enforcement officers have been killed in 13 states so far this year, 14 of them by gunfire.

What does this have to say about people? Are those just the wackos we have in society? Or is there something more? Well when you have law enforcement officers running around like they are god it does gets a little old in my opinion. I am not condoning any of the actions and I am not saying to do it, don't twist my words. But it does seems strange that this activity is rising.

Another thing here in America, I haven't looked completely into the details of the new "budget plan" written up by President Obama, but frankly I don't need to to get the point of it. We are so far in debt as country but his plan is the cut the programs that we need to most. Especially military size. With all the problems that is happening outside the country, we need to be preparing our military, not shrinking it.

This leads my next point, anyone who watches the news, reads a paper, or keeps up with events happening around the world should know about the revolution in Egypt. Well before Egypt, there was Tunisia. And know I've read about the same situations happening in Tehran, Iran, Bahran(wherever that is), Libya, Yemen, and I few other countries I believe. The middle east is uprising against their governments. I am all for a democracy. The news even made the Egypt revolution such as wonderful event because of the fact that their people wanted democracy. But I hate to say it, but it isn't going to go as smoothly as they hope, and just because Egypt did it, something mean it will go the same way for those other middle eastern countries. I expect civil unrest and possibly civil wars in the middle east and surround areas.

The tension is rising everywhere. Israel is on high alert. One, because they border some of these countries and civil war in those countries are going to prove harmful to them. Second, I just read an article about Israel taking action against Iranian warships going through the Suez  Canal.

History tends to repeat itself. Wars always start with tensions rising, I believe within the next year, at the rate events are developing, there will be a major war in the middle east. What does this have to do with America? Well our allies such as Israel and technically Iraq are located there we would be forced to go help out this major war. But we have our own problems here at home. With our current government legislature reacting, in my opinion, wrongfully towards our economic situation. There is better ways to handle this but cutting spending in the wrong areas is not going to help. I think our government needs to step back for a moment and look around. They are leaving us vulnerable to what ever is happening around the world.

One more point before I wrap this LONG first post up. We as a society is all paying attention to our own problems in America and to what is happening in the middle east, which is all fine and dandy, but we seem to forget what just happened a few months ago in north and south korea, there is a transition of power from the father to the son. We need to watch carefully to what happens there, they have built nuclear weapons before and they aren't afraid to react. If they attack south korea and try to take it over, we again will be forced to take the side of our allies. This is only going to stretch us too thin, especially with out cuts and shrinkage.

Wow, too long, but I needed to develop the foundation for future posts. Again, I'm not saying we need to rise up and start shooting cops or taking over town squares or anything. I just think we need to stop having our government pull the wool over our eyes, blinding us. We need to open up and look around. We need to think about what is happening and start reacting NOW.
